PUSHING oneself into the unknown. Yes the UNKNOWN,is like walking into unchartered waters with uncertainties and unknown challenges without knowing how to swim. Stepping into the world of insurance is no different, being unsure of what lies ahead, unsure of how to deal with people, unsure of a solution to the problem is all part of the puzzle and I’m sure it’s the same for anyone following in these footsteps. However, guidance under the proper leadership to show the path to success is of upmost essentiality and I believe I’m in the right place in AIA under JT Mega. From the provided trainings,the advancement in technology to assist life planners to the unending support from the leaders has shaped where I am today. Without them, who knows how lost I’d be. Yes it is tough, yes there are ups and downs and yes you may be pushed into extreme circumstances but what is key is how to face these challenges,overcome them and build yourselves up. Left with a few weeks to hit my target to Chiang Mai was really a stab to a heart when you’re feeling the pressure and facing rejection from even the closest of friends to relatives, it puts you way down to your lowest point. However in the midst of the storm, never would have expected to tap into an inner drive within myself to push forward to achieve what was ahead. With that said, without the constant support and encouragement from my leaders and guidance for the right mindset,this would not have been possible. I’ll leave it at this, be in the right place,be with the right leaders and shape yourself in the right direction. I’m grateful to have taken the right step and my journey has just began.
